Population Growth in Europe & Central Asia (1950-2023)

Over the last 73 years, Uzbekistan's population has surged sixfold and impressively climbed up in the ranks of 50 countries in the Europe & Central Asia (ECA) region. Starting at 20th place in 1950, Central Asia's most populous nation is now ranked 7th largest, following Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, and Poland (excluding Russia).

Uzbekistan's youngest generation (born in 2017-2023) is the largest in Europe and Central Asia, coming ahead of its peer groups in Germany, France, and all other ECA countries.
